Message from Jackson County Emergency Management

Press release from Jackson County:

1 – Jackson County will be picking up vegetative and C&D debris. It must be separated and placed at the curb. Debris should not be placed in a manner that blocks the roadway and or placed on an exposed cable.
I have attached a graphic in both English and Spanish for your use.
2- A Jackson County resource guide may be found at www.jacksonnc.org
3 – We anticipate a FEMA Disaster Recovery Center (DRC) will be established in Sylva this week. Every one impacted by the storm should register online at www.disasterassistance.gov or by phone at 1-800-621-3362. Once the DRC is operational, people will be able to sign up in person.
4- Remember to take care of yourself.
