From Asheville Regional Airport:
The next time you visit the airport and pull into the parking lot, you will see a construction zone. We break ground on the new five-story, 1,300-space parking garage on October 3.
The parking garage, part of the airport’s master plan, will take one year to complete, and will serve passenger needs for years to come.
So, where will passengers park during the next year? We will have plenty of convenient parking available:
- We will have more than 1,000 spaces remaining in the main parking lots in front of the terminal.
- We also have a “credit card-only” lot just past the terminal, down the hill and on the right (watch for orange signs).
- Last, we have constructed a temporary gravel lot directly across the street from the main entrance. This lot has approximately 200 spaces, and will be a “pre-paid” lot in which you pay the attendant upon arrival for the number of days you plan to travel. The cost will only be $6 per day, and a shuttle to and from the front door of the terminal will operate around-the-clock.
