Pipe break damages Hendersonville Court House

According to the Hendersonville Times-News, A broken water line Monday inside the Historic Courthouse in downtown Hendersonville appears to have destroyed technical equipment outside the Commissioners Meeting Room, officials said, though the Henderson County Heritage Museum directly below it was spared irreplaceable damage.

The pipe burst just after 10 a.m. Monday in a chaseway on the top floor of the courthouse, and water gushed straight down into the second-floor office of County Public Information Officer Christina DeStefano, where the county’s audio-visual room is located
