Press release
From The Smoky Blue Review:
The Smoky Blue Review, a literary and arts magazine newly launched
by members of the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute at UNC Asheville, is calling for submissions. Deadlines are June 1 for the inaugural issue, which will be published in the Fall of 2014.John Himmelheber, Editor of The Smoky Blue Review, said, “First, we want to make the Smoky Blue Review public and accessible, hence an online format. Second, where the original OLLI magazine was seen as a showcase for OLLI Asheville members’ work, The Smoky Blue Review continues to offer that opportunity while also reaching out to all members of our talented and diverse community. Accordingly, we welcome submissions on any topic and in any voice or style.”
The Smoky Blue Review will publish fiction, non-fiction, art and photography. Submissions in each of these areas will be reviewed anonymously by teams of reviewers. Please visit www.SmokyBlueReview.com for submission guidelines.
