For immediate release
Registration is now open for the Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT) prep classes offered by the Asheville Graduate Center. Classes will meet on the UNC Asheville campus.
The SAT prep class will meet from 6-8:30 p.m. on Mondays and Wednesdays for three consecutive weeks, February 17-March 5. The SAT, widely accepted at undergraduate colleges and universities nationwide, employs multiple-choice questions designed to gauge verbal and mathematical abilities, and also has a writing component. The prep course will cover all aspects of the SAT, and includes test-taking techniques, timesaving methods and logical reasoning. The SAT will be offered at area high schools on March 8.
Cost for the prep class is $295 and includes study materials. For more information contact Nancy Williams at 828.250.2353 or nwilliam@unca.edu. Additional information, including a printable registration form, is available at agc.unca.edu/sat.
