Twenty-five candidates will become new citizens during a ceremony at the Carl Sandburg Home National Historic Site amphitheater in Flat Rock on Tuesday, September 17 at 10:30 a.m. This day is also recognized nationally as Constitution and Citizenship Day in honor of the Constitution having been signed September 17, 1787.
This is the fourth year the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Service North Carolina Office is hosting a naturalization ceremony at this historic site. …
