This Saturday, April 14, WNCA will continue celebrating our 30th anniversary at our annual spring gathering! ‘Renewing Our Roots’ will be held where WNCA was birthed: Franklin.
Several FREE family-friendly outings will be offered throughout the day, culminating in a barbecue (BBQ tempeh for all of you veggies!) and live “blue ridge bluegrass” celebration at the Memorial United Methodist Church (where WNCA’s founder, Esther Cunningham, was a member.) For more details or to RSVP, contact Anna Jane here.
Outings: Wildflower walk, birding, and paddling down the Little Tennessee River–click here for details.
Carpool from Asheville! A carpool will leave from the Westgate Shopping Center (Earth Fare location). Carpool for daytime outings will leave Westgate at 8 a.m. Carpool for the evening celebration will leave Westgate at 4 p.m. *(Please contact Joy Irby here to RSVP for carpool or for directions.)
