WNC’s Carolina Public Press, an online, regionally focused non-profit media outlet, is advertising for applicants to fill the 20-hour/week position of managing editor. The anticipated start date is March 1. Applications must be submitted by Feb. 6. About 70 percent of the job entails managing staff and freelance journalists, recruiting freelancers, training, story assignments and editing.
CPP produces in-depth and investigative stories and collaborates with regional media outlets to promote content-sharing relationships.
