Thanks for reading through to the end…
We share your inclination to get the whole story. For the past 25 years, Xpress has been committed to in-depth, balanced reporting about the greater Asheville area. We want everyone to have access to our stories. That’s a big part of why we've never charged for the paper or put up a paywall.
We’re pretty sure that you know journalism faces big challenges these days. Advertising no longer pays the whole cost. Media outlets around the country are asking their readers to chip in. Xpress needs help, too. We hope you’ll consider signing up to be a member of Xpress. For as little as $5 a month — the cost of a craft beer or kombucha — you can help keep local journalism strong. It only takes a moment.
Before you comment
The comments section is here to provide a platform for civil dialogue on the issues we face together as a local community. Xpress is committed to offering this platform for all voices, but when the tone of the discussion gets nasty or strays off topic, we believe many people choose not to participate. Xpress editors are determined to moderate comments to ensure a constructive interchange is maintained. All comments judged not to be in keeping with the spirit of civil discourse will be removed and repeat violators will be banned. See here for our terms of service. Thank you for being part of this effort to promote respectful discussion.
It would be funny but ALL of Congress doesnt have to accept the Health Care being covered, Bit hypicritical huh? So its NOT the same . . . .
Another sad attempt at social commentary . . .
What’s “hypicritical” mean?
Ahhh the I dont have an argument so I shall show My ignorance at being the spelling police.
I wasn’t even talking to you. I figure if you’re going to make a statement — especially of the kind for which Mr. Dweller is so rightly famous — you might at least be able to spell.
No you werent, just like no one talks to you when you decide to chime in with your non-sense.
Its ok he thinks he’s relevent to every discussion, when not really he’s just a grumpy curmudgeon that has poor taste in films.
“Discussion?” What “discussion?” Aside from Ken’s question, all that is here are a few slams.
That passes for discussion in their world. It gets tiresome trying to keep goats from crossing their bridge.
The spelling police was the only Goat fan in this thread, and the God of Whine knows all about whining on the AC-T boards.
The Democrats wouldn’t give him the same coverage they have either. What’s their problem?
“The spelling police was the only Goat fan in this thread, and the God of Whine knows all about whining on the AC-T boards.”
Articulated like someone who, when confronted with the inherent nonsense of their post, lashes out with child-like insults. Impressive, Bottom Dweller. Please, can I have some more?
Look at it this way, you’ve been called the God of Whine by a guy or two guys (if there really are two of them) who only show up to whine about Asheville or liberals or Asheville liberals. That’s called irony.
Not whining just pointing fact, God of Whine is not happy unless he is whining, and thats the pot calling the kettle black, several instances of someone proving you wrong and you attacking grammer, Spelling or anything else to deflect off your weak, wannabe snarky posts.
And for the Movie critic, he likes to whine alot too like he is now, “Someone is picking on me, wahhhhh” Sorry got better things to do then take some as you seriously as reall critic of movies or anything else with sad posts you post.
I attack your grammar, not your “grammer,” also your spelling. I can’t help it if the illiterati got together and decided it was off-limits to remark on their displays of such things, but I never signed any such agreement.
And if you think anything I’ve said here has any connection to whining, you have some serious cognitive problems as well, but we all already knew that.
