Ticket Giveaway! Blue Ridge Rollergirls take on Appalachian Boonshiners and the old-school home teams return to the track

The Blue Ridge Rollergirls are turning double-digits and want you to celebrate their triumphant 10 years with them!

Don’t miss the action on Saturday July 16, 5-9 p.m. at the U.S. Cellular Center when Asheville’s own Blue Ridge French Broads goes head to head with Appalachian Rollergirls Boonshiners at 5 p.m.

At 7 p.m., in a very special exhibition match, the two original home teams return to the track to honor the strong history of Asheville derby. The all-Asheville throwback home teams, the Candy Apple Razorblades vs Wham Bam Thank You Ma’am’s will be honoring old-school style of play, bringing back a more theatrical approach, and yes, maybe even some fishnet tights. And don’t forget, it’s $2 beer night at the flat track.

Also not to be missed, the premier fire performance troop of the southeast, Unifire Theater, will be putting on a flaming hot half-time show between the bouts.

The local All Stars have battled their way to an impressive rank of 45th in the world, out of over 200 teams, so they are hitting the road for the playoffs after this bout. Let’s give ’em a good send-off with a high energy final home bout.
