It may be a closed industry event, but, having to do with books, booksellers and the publishing industry, ABA’s Winter Institute is bringing a “powerhouse of authors” to Asheville — a number of which will appear at public readings.

May is just around the corner, along with a calendar-full of readings, booksignings, poems, short stories and autobiographical anecdotes. Donald David (pictured here) will read from his newly-released Tales from a Free-Range Childhood.
The roster includes other local writers Ron Rash, Sara Gruen and Stephanie Perkins, as well as many authors who visited Asheville last year.
