In can seem like development in Asheville is in a constant state of flux, with development proposals and new regulation details being rolled out on almost a daily basis. Anyone who wants a big-picture look at the city’s development trends can attend Asheville’s Development Forum this Friday, May 18.
The forum will run from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. in the Public Works Facility (161 S. Charlotte St.). According to the agenda, a host of city staffers will present findings and figures on a range of topics, from development trends to recent changes to the Unified Development Ordinance.
The meeting is open to the public, but if you want to go, registration is required by Wednesday, May 16, by calling the Office of Economic Development at 232-4500 or e-mailing Janet Dack at jdack@ashevillenc.gov.
