Think blogs exist only in the Internet ether? Nope. Blogs, including some of our own, mix and mingle with other forms of media quite nicely, thank you.
As ephemera points out, the former blog A Year in Asheville (which is not the same as the current A Year in Asheville) has published a book, titled A Year in Asheville! And Ashvegas is making appearances on the radio now. Meanwhile, Mountain Circus Arts found himself on the front page of the print medium known as the newspaper.
But, as the saying goes, enough about Asheville! What about you? Why don’t you talk about Asheville?
Edgy Mama has this article from the Atlanta Journal/Constitution about our lovely beer makers. Google maps has unleashed its “street view” on Asheville, and it messed up Arratik’s car and allowed Sarx to time travel.
A. Fletcher caught the TV news way over in Raleigh covering our friends to the south. And a blog far out west called Portland Vegan Reubens profiled our own humble offerings to that particular sandwich-like dish.
On the panic and chaos front, we are fast closing in on Christmas, and some bloggers already got their trees, including The Hangover Journals, Makoviney, Asheville News, Sweet Mess and What the Hell? Around Asheville wants you to know that the big guy himself has been sighted at Pritchard Park and Reduce Footprints says there’s no reason to be wasteful and all tree-killing when you wrap those gifts.
And somebody stop in on Bruisin’ Ales. Looks like they’re a bit under the weather.
