Taggers for the Lord

Approximately 4.54 billion years ago, God created this planet for all of us to share. Then, within the last few millennia, some people decided to divide it up amongst themselves and fabricate property-rights laws that would justify their actions. They quickly began to bulldoze the world and cover it with concrete, pavement and fluorescent-lighted eyesores.

Where is the outrage?! Who will stand up and question this despicable mass theft and degradation? Who can take the depressing gray blah of prefab construction and make it colorful and vibrant like the whole world used to be? The graffiti artist, that’s who! Taggers for the Lord, I call them. Divine messengers from God, sent here to reclaim paradise. You are my hero, oh wielder of the spray can. I salute you.

P.S. Please don’t tag my house.

I like this “tongue and cheek” letter, but everyone knows that God created the planet only 4,000 years ago at the most.

Tagging isn’t beautifull here in Asheville – it’s whining with a spray can. If it was beautifull, it would be good, but it’s not – it’s ugly and un-artistic and has become a charicature of itself. Stupid blocked 3-d letters – please. Arrest these people for having no talent.

  3. Piffy!

Anything done in “stupid blocked 3D letters” is not a “Tag”. Please know your lingo when you are making vague generalizations with an anonymous, unregistered name.

    _Piffy.

PFKaP, You’ve got some acid, don’t you. I use a pseudonym but I don’t say anything to hide behind it, nor do I post anything that I wouldn’t say to somebody eye to eye. There is a new term for it, and I don’t have my terms right here either, it is disassociated …something,…aggression maybe, but disassociated is the first part of the term. In any case, it is people on the internet being more confrontational than they would dream of doing in person. For instance, on another thread, somebody voiced their dissillusion on living here in Asheville. There was a comment saying that here’s another person that thinks the world owes them something. I wonder if, say, at a party or something, if one person said to another, ” You know, I’m kind of having a hard time trying to get my life and art going here in Asheville. The art scene seems kind of exclusive in some ways, and I wish some of these people who have influence would get over themselves”. Can you imagine the other person responding by saying, “Your just another person who think the world owes you something”. Kind of an inappropriate, rude, and judgemental reply, don’t you think? Just a case in point. And I don’t have to know what the terms are to know what ugy is.

Wow, bro. You kinda sound like YOU got the ‘cid, captain non-linear.

What you described would be a “throw up”

    Just letting you know.

  6. who

We all got the “cid” but some of us just don’t throw it into anonymous eyes. My own personal rule. And if you are a tagger, I’m sorry that I dissed your,…work. And I’m just not that hip on all the IT lingo. Over and out. 10-4 rubber ducky.
