Thursday’s meeting of the URTV board will deal with a number of controversial issues, and Xpress is inviting attendees to assist our reporting on the events by joining in on the MXNow Twitter feed.
The URTV meeting may involve the dismissal of two board members who have been critical of the station’s management, as well as further discussion of the board’s compliance with state open-meetings law — a controversial issue over the past month.
Attendees with a Twitter account are invited to send on news of the meeting’s progress by including the hashtag #mxnow after their posts. Xpress requests that posts cover only the goings-on at the meeting, and leave commentary about the events to the forums or elsewhere. (What’s Twitter, you ask? How about filming the entire proceedings?
why don’t you inadvertantly try to ruin reality?
Happily, we had four people filming the meeting. One claimed to be filming on behalf of URTV. How can that be?
