Each week, we give you a brief overview of the recent happenings in the Mountain Xpress Forums, highlighting a few of the more interesting new discussions. And there have been plenty of interesting topics this week, from the not-exactly plummeting housing prices in Asheville to the not-exactly theological answers to “How do you define God?” (Tom Waits and Faulkner get a few votes for deification in the thread, so it seems).
This week, however, I thought it might be more interesting to turn the subject around. Instead of telling you what was on the forums this week, I’d like to ask for some things you’d like to see talked about, but which never seem to come up. Or, to rephrase that a bit: What aren’t we talking about that we should be?
Why ask? Because a forum is only as good as its contributors, and while we have a great crew of posters, we can always use new voices and new topics of conversation. So, by asking about what things you’d like to talk about, maybe — just maybe — we can convince a few more of you to drop by and participate.
