The 48 Hour Film Project officially kicks off on Friday evening when the filmmaking teams get the character, prop and line of dialogue they’ve got to incorporate into their film. And, write it, shoot it and edit it, all before Sunday evening.
There’s a pre-party tonight at the downtown Asheville Brewing Company. Then, on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday (June 22, 23 and 24), the public can watch the results of this year’s project at the Merrimon Avenue Asheville Pizza and Brewing.
If you don’t want to watch all of them, catch the Best of the Asheville 48H Film Project at Fine Arts Theatre on Wednesday, June 30.
