This is not a statement of support for or opposition to the A-B Tech quarter-cent sales-tax referendum. It is an endorsement of fair campaigning and unsullied hands.
The pictured sign has obviously been defaced:
It’s rather clear how the individual responsible for the alteration feels about the referendum. But, if you, like me, have the impulse to rotate the sign to display the other side that you, like me, assume to be unaltered (in the interest of maintaining a modicum of political civility) I warn you: the entirety of the placard has been slathered in Vaseline or Sterno or some equally noxious oily balm.
In the time it took to wash my hands, I could have been considering the referendum. Good thing I’m not pitching in the World Series tonight or shaking hands at a political event. I can’t even hold my pen. It slips out of my hand like a fish or a wet snake.
Get out the vote … before it gets you.
Some people might appreciate such lubricated digits.
This is getting ugly.
VOTE NO!
Play fair? Really, why don’t you do some REAL investigatin into AB Tech and how money is used to fund this campaign.
Play fair…HAHAHAHA! Good one.
Got a hot tip?
