The Writers’ Workshop announces writing contests

The Writers’ Workshop of Asheville, NC is sponsoring four annual contests, open to any writer regardless of residence. Guidelines can be found at www.twwoa.org., or by emailing writersw@gmail.com or calling 828-254-811.

The awards for all contests are:
• 1ST PLACE: Your choice of a 3 night stay at our Mountain Muse B&B, 3 free workshops, or 100 pages line-edited and revised by our editorial staff.
• 2nd PLACE: 2 night stay at our B&B; or 2 free workshops; or 50 pages line-edited.
• 3rd PLACE: One free workshop; or 25 pages line-edited.
• 10 Honorable Mentions

Hard Times Essay Contest
Deadline: Postmarked by May 30, 2014.

Literary Fiction Contest
Deadline: Postmarked by August 30, 2014.

24th Annual Memoirs Competition
Deadline: Postmarked by November 30, 2014.

26th Annual Poetry Contest
Deadline: Postmarked by Feb. 28, 2015.
