All Souls Pizza will help the Montford Farmers Market’s transition to its new incarnation as the River Arts District Farmers Market with a welcome-to-the-neighborhood bash at 6 p.m. Wednesday, July 9, in its field at 175 Clingman Avenue. The festivities will also celebrate All Souls’ first anniversary and mark the beginning of drink service in All Souls’ new Field Bar on Wednesday-Saturday nights.
All Souls will close along with the market at 6 p.m. on July 9, and the party will begin with live music, raffles and beer from The Wedge and New Belgium Brewing Co. Food made by All Souls, Chef Elliott Moss and other chefs who regularly shop at the market will be for sale. Admission is free.
After more than three years in its location behind the Asheville Chamber of Commerce, the Montford Farmers Market recently opted to move to the the field next to All Souls due to increased demands for parking from Lenoir Rhyne University.
