Artists: Julie Armbruster: Painting

For the month of September, 2014 painter Julie Armbruster’s works will be featured in the F.W. Front Gallery at Woolworth Walk in her show Puddles and Projections. Imagine a colorful world full of strange creatures, human-animal hybrids, and expressions that draw in the viewer with their big eyes and perplexed contortions. The newest work by local painter, Julie Armbruster, reveals some interesting new compositions and includes some works on paper, panel, and some sculpted works. Armbruster has pulled in some of her favorite characters such as Bip Nurgen, Professor Wunderbar, and the vampire owls adding to their individual and collective narratives. Come meet Julie and enjoy the artist reception on Friday September 5th from 5-7pm.
