The French Broad Vignerons recently selected the gold, silver and bronze medal winners for commercial wineries and ribbon winners for noncommercial wineries for the 2014 Asheville Wine and Food Festival wine competitions. Commercial gold and silver medalists qualify for the French Broad Vignerons’ Best of the Appalachians designation. The results will be formally announced during the festival’s Grand Tasting on Saturday, Aug. 23, at the U.S. Cellular Center in downtown Asheville.
