Park Ridge Health welcomes new medical-surgical director

Hendersonville, N.C. (May 23, 2012) – Park Ridge Health is excited to welcome Leigh Angel, M.S.N., R.N., C.N.M.L., as Director of the Medical-Surgical Unit. Angel has provided patient care in Western North Carolina over the past 10 years in various capacities, including as a staff nurse, unit supervisor and nurse manager.

Angel earned her B.S. in Nursing and M.S.N. in Nursing Administration at Western Carolina University in Cullowhee, N.C. She is a Certified Nurse Manager and Leader through the American Organization of Nurse Executives and American Association of Critical-Care Nurses.

As director of Park Ridge Health’s Medical-Surgical Unit, Angel will be responsible and accountable for daily operations of the 40-bed patient care unit. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her husband, Chris, and her two daughters; cooking; and traveling.
