Planning has begun for the 4th Annual Asheville Wing War and event producer, Lush Life Productions expects it to be its biggest year yet. Tickets will be available for purchase on Thursday, January 15 at noon and will be $20 per person. The ticket price includes unlimited wings and beer as well local music.
The competition, which is part of an annual series of competitive food events called the Asheville Food Fights, heats up at New Mountain Asheville at 4pm on Sunday, March 1. The wings will be judged by a panel of celebrity judges in a blind taste test in two categories: specialty and traditional buffalo style. Attendees will also have the opportunity to vote for their favorite wing and select the People’s Choice Award.

MANNA FoodBank is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization serving Western North Carolina since 1983 and an accredited member of Feeding America, the nation’s largest domestic hunger relief organization. MANNA is located in Asheville, North Carolina on Swannanoa River Road.
