Some lucky local Kmart shoppers got a pleasant holiday surprise this week when a group of Buncombe County employees paid off their layaways.
The Buncombe County Grounds Maintenance Crew took the money they had been saving for a Christmas lunch and instead used it to help those in need. This short video documents their story.
