Showtime is 7:30 p.m.
From a press release:
Listen to This: Stories in Performance returns this Thursday with “Bristle While You Work: True Tales of Weird and Peculiar Workplaces” for the final show of the summer. Asheville itself is a weird and peculiar place to work but this show goes even further to explore the odd and unusual job site. The haunted hotel. The theatre with the guy who lives under the stage. The office with no windows and all the women are named “Linda.” We all have to work but do we have to work there?
“Bristle While You Work: True Tales of Weird and Peculiar Workplaces” features stories by Timothy Burkhardt, Tiffany Cade Santiago, Sara Fields, and Rod Murphy plus a story and song from Jeff Santiago. The evening is hosted by Tom “Hidden Camera Cubicle” Chalmers.
Tickets are only $10 – don’t miss it! Or you could have to clock some overtime at the resuscitation mannequin plant …
