Local choirs to brighten the holiday travels at Asheville Regional Airport

Announcement from Asheville Regional Airport:

The decked out halls of Asheville Regional Airport (AVL) will be filled with cheer as the annual “Sounds of the Holidays” program kicks off on Monday, December 7, 2015. Each year regional choirs and local musicians are invited to participate in the program to perform holiday music in the airport for the enjoyment of travelers, visitors, and employees alike.

“This is one of those feel-good events where we can invite the community into the airport and celebrate the season,” said Tina Kinsey, director of marketing and public relations. “Traveling during the holidays should not be stressful and when our visitors hear these local chorus groups we hope they relax and enjoy their time in the Airport even more.”
