With assistance from the community through tips to the Asheville Police Department’s non-emergency line and Buncombe County Crime Stoppers we have successfully identified the both the men and the driver pictured below. We appreciate everyone who assisted us in making this identification.
The investigation into this case is ongoing and no additional information is available at this time.
Asheville Police Department Requests Public Assistance Identifying Men
Asheville, NC (July 18, 2016): The Asheville Police Department would like to the request assistance from the public to identify the men and vehicle in the photos below (NOTE: the man in the blue shirt is a Mission Hospital employee and his identity is known). The men arriving in the vehicle are not a suspects in a case but we believe they can provide valuable information on the identity of a gentleman that was dropped off at Mission Hospital earlier this morning for medical attention and succumbed to his injuries.
If anyone has information regarding the identities or whereabouts of these men they are encouraged to contact the Asheville Police Department at (828) 252-1110 or Buncombe County Crime Stoppers at (828) 255-5050.
