Senator Tim Kaine to campaign on jobs in North Carolina

PRESS RELEASE:

On Monday, August 15 and Tuesday, August 16, vice presidential nominee Senator Tim Kaine and his wife, Anne Holton, will campaign in Asheville and Fayetteville, where he will highlight Hillary Clinton’s 100-Day Jobs Plan to build an economy that works for everyone, not just those at the top.

An economic analysis based on findings from a former adviser to John McCain, Mark Zandi, suggests that North Carolina could add 325,000 jobs under Hillary Clinton’s economic plans, while North Carolina could lose 106,000 jobs under a Donald Trump presidency.
