PRESS RELEASE FROM UNCA:
Faculty members of UNC Asheville’s Great Smokies Writing Program will read from their works at 3 p.m. on Sunday, Sept. 18 at Malaprop’s Bookstore/Café, 55 Haywood St., in downtown Asheville. This reading is part of the Writers at Home series hosted by Tommy Hays, novelist and director of the Great Smokies Writing Program (GSWP) at UNC Asheville. The Writers at Home series is free and open to the public.
The reading will feature a variety of poetry and prose from distinguished writers teaching fall GSWP courses, including Nickole Brown, Katherine Crawford, Abigail DeWitt, Jordan Dolfi, Christine Hale, Vicki Lane, Elizabeth Lutyens, Sebastian Matthews, Joy Neaves and Cynthia Surrisi.
