Buncombe Partnership for Children launches Gift with Meaning certificates

News release from Buncombe Partnership for Children:

Buncombe Partnership for ChildrenIt’s that time of year again — time to start planning for family and friends gift giving. This holiday season, why don’t you consider a Gift with Meaning that will directly impact young children and families in Buncombe County.

Buncombe Partnership for Children is launching their Gift with Meaning certificates designed for you to donate to the Partnership, in honor of someone, while supporting young children and families in Buncombe County.  Your gift recipient will receive a special certificate noting that you made a donation in their honor.

You may give to a specific program or, to the general fund directly supporting the Partnership’s work with young children and families in Buncombe County.  This year we are highlighting support for Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library.

For $26, you can give the gift of literacy for one child  in Buncombe County.  Your donation of $26 will provide a child with a book every month for a year through the Partnership’s Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library program.  Also, consider supporting two children for $52 or three for $78.

Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library provides free books to children living in Buncombe County aged birth to five years old.  Participating children receive an age appropriate book each month, mailed directly to the child from the time of registration until age 5.
