Notice from the Deputy City Clerk of the city of Asheville:
The next full Energy Innovation Task Force (EITF) meeting on will be May 12, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. in the City Hall, Sixth Floor Training Room, located at 70 Court Plaza, Asheville, NC.
At this meeting, the EITF invites community members to present proposals for projects, programs and initiatives for consideration by the EITF in its future planning efforts. Community members will be given 3-5 minutes, depending on the number of responses, to make a presentation to the EITF. Presentation time slots will be awarded on a first come first, first served basis. Presentations should adhere to the following guidelines:
- Focus on one proposal and provide information on funding and implementation.
- Please do not use powerpoint presentations or other digital media, but handouts to EITF members are welcome.
- Include defined, actionable proposals.
Please fill out this short google form no later than May 10 so your idea can get on the list for presentation. Because slots will be given on a first come, first served basis, you will be notified via email if your presentation is able to be shared at the next meeting. If more proposals are submitted than there is time allotted at the next meeting, we will look to complete the presentations at future meetings.
If you have any questions, please contact Joan Walker, EITF Community Engagement Workgroup Chair, at joan@mountaintrue.org.
