Press release from TEDxUNCAsheville:
TEDxUNCAsheville will host their annual speaker conference on March 2 from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m.
The theme of the conference, Unexcused Absence, explores the ideas and life lessons one was never taught in academic settings, but the ones that prove to be important life lessons to navigate the ever-changing world.
The conference will debut the new Blue Ridge Ballroom, a recent addition to the Highsmith Student Union as a part of UNC Asheville’s renovation opening.
Organized by a team of students at UNC Asheville, TEDxUNCAsheville was established in 2013. The organization has hosted numerous conferences, allowing the Asheville community to cultivate new ideas.
Tickets for the conference are free for general admission and the all-access package can be obtained for a $10 donation. The all-access package includes TEDxUNCAsheville merchandise. Tickets can be reserved at https://fixr.co/event/685601284.
