NCSU holds Forest Landowner Workshop on July 11

The Forestry Extension Department of North Carolina State University will host a one-day workshop for landowners on potential alternative income streams for forest landowners.  This workshop will be held on Thursday, July 11, 2019 and will be held at the Mountain Horticultural Center at 455 Research Drive, Mills River, NC.

The cost of the workshop is $20 per person and includes lunch.  There will be Continuing Education Credits for foresters for an additional $80 fee.  Additionally the workshop will discuss the North Carolina Property Tax Present Use Program that promotes keeping land in forestland and other ways to support family farms and forests.
