Press release from the Progressive Alliance of Henderson County:
Did you notice that the previous early voting sites were not opened for the last election? Do you know that the 2016 NC Senate Bill 325 created that situation, as well as the elimination of the last Saturday of early voting?
On Wednesday, July 10, PAHC’s Informed Progressive Series welcomes Darlene Azarmi of Democracy NC to discuss these changes to NC voting rights and how we can work to restore them before the 2020 election. Updates to the Voter ID Law and the student ID also will be discussed by Gaby Romero, Appalachian State student organizer.
Exercising our right to vote shouldn’t be difficult. Come join the discussion of what we can do to insure everyone’s opportunity to vote. Visit ProgressiveAllianceofHendersonCounty.com for more information.
