Press release from AdventHealth Hendersonville:
AdventHealth Hendersonville has announced that President and CEO Jimm Bunch is postponing his retirement until April 30 to facilitate continuity of leadership as we navigate the impact of COVID-19 on our region.
Bunch had announced his plans to retire at the end of March. AdventHealth has named Cory Reeves to become the new President and CEO for AdventHealth Hendersonville. Reeves currently serves as Vice President and Chief Financial Officer for the Southeast Region of AdventHealth and for AdventHealth Gordon & Murray in Georgia.
“I am grateful to have the ability to delay my retirement, so this transition doesn’t have to be more disruptive than necessary for team members in the midst of the COVID-19 situation,” said Jimm Bunch. “Cory and I are keeping in close contact so he will be fully prepared when he begins to lead this amazing team at AdventHealth Hendersonville.”
Both Bunch and Reeves have agreed to postpone the transition in order to ensure the facilities here in North Carolina and Georgia, are fully supported through the COVID-19 Pandemic impact.
AdventHealth Southeast Region CEO, Pete Weber, shared that Bunch’s decision, “…will allow him to continue as CEO during this difficult time. This also allows Cory to continue his work as CFO at AdventHealth Gordon, Murray, and the SE Region. I remain excited about the future of AdventHealth Hendersonville under Cory’s leadership but also believe continuity in leadership during this unprecedented time will be beneficial for all.”
