Go Mini’s is excited to announce its first installment of the #OnTheGoMini event series with a COVID-friendly Meet & Greet Santa and Coat Drive, brought to you by Go Mini’s Portable Storage in partnership with Stephan Pruitt Photography, Eblen Charities, Harrah’s Cherokee Center, Appalachian Santa, and Asheville Strong.
Asheville, it’s been a long year. However, sticking true to our resilient spirit, we’ve put together a safe event that helps benefit our local residential and small business communities. In a year with endless roadblocks, we believe it’s time to wrap up 2020 on a hopeful note, and we’re excited to present a series of jolly activities to give the community something to look forward to during this difficult time. Here’s what we’re doing:We’ve built Asheville’s first COVID-safe “Santa Shell” out of Go Mini’s mobile storage units, and for 4 days only, guests are welcome to bring their families (or friendly critters) to safely meet Santa behind a cozy glass wall. All photography proceeds will be benefiting Asheville Strong: a nonprofit organization that supports local small businesses with online and crisis relief funding. Go Mini’s will also be hosting an on-site coat drive to keep our Asheville population warm this Winter. Bring a coat to donate and get a discount on a professional photo with Santa as well.The event will be taking place outdoors, with masks and social distancing protocols enforced at all times, and hand sanitizer stations available.Go Mini’s Santa Meet & Greet and Coat Drive Dates:
- Wednesday, Dec. 16: 5:30-9 p.m.
- Thursday, Dec. 17: 5:30-9 p.m.
- Monday, Dec. 21: 5:30 – 9 p.m.
- Tuesday, Dec. 22: 5:30-9 p.m.
Harrah’s Cherokee Center will also be accepting coat donations during the hours of 10 a.m.-4 p.m. from Dec. 14-23.
