Press release from the Buncombe County Sheriff’s Office:
Jeffrey Laurence Hall, age 37, of Buncombe County has pleaded guilty to more than a dozen felony drug charges, the Buncombe County District Attorney announced on Tuesday. Hall has been sentenced to serve five to seven years in prison as a result of those charges.
On June 26, 2020 SCET Deputies with the Buncombe County Sheriff’s Office arrested Mr. Hall on charges of Fentanyl Trafficking and numerous other drug charges. The Asheville Police Department also arrested Hall on a dozen criminal charges in April of this year, which included four counts of drug trafficking.
Hall has an extensive criminal history in Buncombe County dating back to 2005 with more than 25 arrests and a long list of drug and trafficking charges as well as four assault charges.
“Thank you to our SCET and Patrol Deputies for their excellent work in arresting and charging Mr. Hall. The Buncombe County Sheriff’s Office will continue to work to dismantle high-level drug trafficking operations in our community,” says Buncombe County Sheriff Quentin Miller.
