For over 23 years, L’optique has been a cornerstone of Asheville’s Wall Street, offering quality eyewear to the community. However, Hurricane Helene recently devastated Biltmore Village, including L’optique’s secondary location and many neighboring businesses. Recognizing the challenges faced by these impacted businesses, L’optique is launching “Miracle on Wall St”, a holiday pop-up series in their Wall Street location, to provide these displaced shops with a space to operate this season.Starting in November, the Wall Street storefront of L’optique, located at 30 Wall St, will host rotating pop-up shops during regular business hours, Monday through Saturday, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Participating businesses will have the chance to reconnect with their community, make sales, and share in the holiday spirit despite the setbacks of recent months.“We’ve spoken with all Wall Street business owners, and many are joining us in this initiative, offering space in their own stores to host those affected by the storm. Our goal is to make Wall Street a one-stop holiday shopping destination while supporting local business recovery,” says Hannah Gibbs of L’optique. “Sometimes, the most challenging events have a way of bringing people together.”Events and Attractions:Festive weekend events are also in the works to bring additional cheer to Wall Street this season. These will include visits from Santa, live music, and other holiday-themed activities. Asheville residents and visitors can stay updated on specific dates and additions by following the initiative’s Instagram, @miracleonwallstavl.Supporting the Community:Shopping at these pop-ups and throughout Wall Street this season will directly support local businesses, especially those whose physical locations were destroyed.
