The Magnetic Theatre's artistic director, Steven Samuels, returns to the stage for the first time in two dozen years in The Last Laugh, which he also wrote. In it, he portrays lead character Chuck Wiles, "the outrageously gay, pot-smoking leader of a renowned but impoverished comic theater troupe that teeters on the edge of ruin before a mysterious gift from an anonymous patron arrives." Tracey Johnston-Crum and Rodney Smith also star, Lucia Del Vecchio directs.
