Asheville Hoops: Hula hooping for kids of all ages. Asheville Hoops hosts of the community hoop jam in Pritchard Park on Tuesdays.
Stina Andersen: Weaver Woman Stina Andersen, sewing teacher, renegade seamstress and local clothing designer of ARTeries by Stina presents The Tunnel of LAAFFs! This interactive arts installation will give pARTicipants an opportunuity to say what they really love about our No. 1 authentically Asheville Street Festival and also what makes them laugh! Come help weave the bamboo tunnel with yarns and fabrics, then enscribe on recycled CDs your personal LAAFF message, a joke or a funny drawing!
Melissa Glaze of Asheville Mural Project: Live painter, performance artist and Asheville muralist Melissa Glaze will host the interactive arts "painting zone" installation. This area will give participants the opportunity to watch the birth of a painting done in free-form ecstatic exploration, as well as give them a space to paint, and to be painted on! Body and face painting offered.
