Closing up shop for Bele Chere

Some businesses — both downtown and in the River Arts District — are simply shutting down for the festival. Plan accordingly.

Here are a few:

Fine Arts Theatre will be closed, and will reopen Monday.

The Magnetic Field will be closed Friday and Saturday.

True Blue Art is closing early Friday, will be closed Saturday and will reopen on Sunday from noon to 5 p.m.

Lexington Park Antiques will be closed.

Wachovia Bank downtown will be closing early on Friday.

The Grey Eagle, which usually closes for the week, will be OPEN. Check Jolie Holland’s show on Friday night.

    Food writer Mackensy Lunsford reports that Table will be closed for Bele Chere, and Tupelo Honey is closed tonight but open for the rest of the weekend. Thanks, Mackensy!

    From Twitter: Sisters McMullen Bakery’s downtown location will be closed for the weekend.

    Pack Place will close Friday at 3:00 PM and remain closed for the rest of the weekend. The Art Museum will be open through their own entrance off of Pack Square. Pack Place will reopen on Tuesday morning at 10:00 AM.
