Los Angeles-based singer/songwriter Ted Russell Kamp is currently on solo tour in the Southeast; he shares a handful of dates with Greenville, S.C. musician Mark Webb (including a show at MoDaddy’s on Saturday, Oct. 21, 10 p.m., $5).
But Kamp is often playing a completely different role on stage: That of bassist for outlaw country artist Shooter Jennings. Those country rock influences are evidenced in Kamp’s sound, along with country blues and honky tonk.

Webb got his start playing coffee shops back in 2005. He released full-length album, Two (his second record) in 2009. According to his bio, “With the addition of full time band members Russ Chapman and Josh Lane, Mark has been able to develop his songwriting into a more original sound that listeners are sure to enjoy.”
