This Friday, Push Skateshop & Gallery (25 Patton Ave) presents Neon Heathens, a local artist showcase curated by painter Gabriel Shaffer. The show opens at 7 p.m. and features pieces from Andy Herod, Michael Hsuing, Shaffer himself, along with Nicolas Pecoraro, Shawn Oldham, Nathanael Roney, Heironymous and Jesse Reno (his art is pictured below).
The event will include a poetry reading by artist, writer and Xpress designer, Nathanael Roney. Local composer and producer Ben Lovett will provide the tunes. Check out Lovett’s steampunk-inspired music video for “Eye of the Storm”.
