Sh*t New Age Guys Say: An Asheville sendup

Local musician and comedian Jeffrey Hyde Thompson stars in this spoof. The video takes its cues from the popular “shit various people say” formats, which all started with the hilarious Shit My Day Says, a Twitter feed started by comedic writer Justin Halpern after he moved back in with his parents.

Thompson‘s video has been making its way around Facebook. It was filmed in and around Asheville, directed by Thompson’s wife, Liz Cross-Thompson, and stars Jeff and Liz with Cameron Kincaid Richardson. Uploaded to YouTube yesterday, it’s alreadr amassed over 7,000 hits. Seaweed chip, anyone?
