Two Fresh at AHA AVL

Hip-hop group Two Fresh (twin brothers Kendrick and Sherwyn Nicholls with drummer Colby Buckler) is based in Asheville but spends most of its time on the road. Follow @TwoFreshBeats on twitter for behind-the-scenes access.

Prior to a rare home-turf performance at the Orange Peel on March 8, Two Fresh played an AHA AVL show at Moog Music. The Thursday afternoon event was early — 5 p.m., so still light outside — but Two Fresh hit the stage ready to rock.

The set clocked in at about 45 minutes, with songs flowing into each other, blending jam, experimental and electronic sounds. The crowd pleasers were the numbers where the Nicholls brothers rapped and, while those songs were few, they were explosive and memorable.

The video of the AHA AVL show is available here at Shuffle.
