Art lovers, zombie enthusiasts and romance-seekers convened at Zapow! Saturday night, Feb. 11, for the “Zombies and Lusty Ladies” Valentine masquerade and art opening. Local garage pop duo Mad Tea provided a live soundtrack as dozens of artists unveiled their work, much of which focused on the darker side of undying love. Gallery goers were encouraged to dress up in stylish zombie attire, and awards such as “Lustiest Lady” and “Most Gruesome” were presented to the crowd’s best-dressed zombies.
