Skate fashion is not a crime
If you’ve passed by Push Skate Shop (25 Patton Ave., 225-5509) and figured that anyone over age 18 would burst into flames if they set foot in the store, you’re missing out. Yeah, the boutique is filled with junior-high kids checking out the specially made skateboards, but there’s also plenty of offerings for shoppers who like to keep both feet on the ground. Here, Mary Jo Marshall tries on some of Push’s women’s wear.
Houndstooth cuffed pants, $54, and olive corduroy jacket, $98, by Volcom. Wolf-print long-sleeve tee by Monsieur T., $35.
Patterned button-down shirt, $42; green wide-collar cardigan, $78; plaid skinny-fit trousers, $35, all from Volcom.
Blue asymmetrical hem tee with buttons, $40, and white leather belt, $30 from Volcom. Light blue chinos, $36, from RVCA.
