WLOS reports a black bear was killed on I-26 today
According to WLOS, A black bear was hit by a car after wandering onto I-26. It happened Thursday afternoon in Buncombe County near the Blue Ridge Parkway overpass. I-MAP crews removed the bear from the roadway. Traffic was slowed for a brief time.
