Dry, windy conditions in the mountains today make brush fires a high possibility, according to a report from the Asheville Citizen-Times. A brush fire began yesterday at 2 p.m. in Jackson County and was contained by 7 p.m., burning about 10 acres.
NCDOT hosts open house tomorrow at the Arboretum to discuss changes to I-26/Brevard Road interchange
